Publications
My papers ask what galaxies were doing when the Universe was young — and whether apparently distant objects really are as distant as they look. This page highlights first-author work from my October 2026 CV. For a current, complete list of co-authored work, see my NASA ADS record. Manuscripts still under internal review are omitted.

Selected collaborations
These are a few papers in which I contributed as a co-author. The ADS record gives the full author lists and publication details.
- Strength in Numbers: Red Galaxies Bolster the Cosmic Star Formation Rate Density at z > 3, Barrufet et al. (2026). Red galaxies help reveal star formation hidden in ultraviolet surveys.
- The JWST EXCELS survey: Outflows in 1.5 < z < 5 quiescent galaxies are likely relics from episodic AGN activity, Taylor et al. (2026). A view of how black-hole activity may leave fingerprints in galaxies that have largely stopped forming stars.
- JWST PRIMER: A new multi-field determination of the evolving galaxy UV luminosity function at redshifts z ~ 9-15, Donnan et al. (2024). A census of very early galaxies using JWST imaging.
